Day 1

Strawberry Shortcake

My favorite NEW recipe... "homemade" so easy, so gooood! Now if I could just get this blog posting stuff down.... errrrrr! 

Recipe

Pillsbury Grand Biscuits (pkg of 8)

1 cup sugar

1 lb. strawberries (washed and sliced)

2 cups heavy whipping cream

With a 1/2 cup sugar in a shallow bowl press each side of biscuit into sugar 

(flatten slightly)

Place on cookie sheet and bake as directed

Add 1/4 cup sugar to berries, stir

Add 1/4 cup sugar to whipping cream, beat on high till soft peaks form

Halve slightly cool rolls. Top with whip cream and berries

Place top on. Add more berries and a dollop of whipped cream.
